G7, Ukraine foreign ministers discuss Crimea, Donbas and hostages – Klimkin

The foreign affairs ministers of the G7 countries and Ukraine during an informal meeting in Toronto (Canada) discussed the issues of the occupied territories of Ukraine and hostages held by Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said after the meeting.

"There was a feeling that Ukraine is a part of this community and the challenges that confront us today are challenges to our common values. We spoke about everything from the occupation of Crimea and Donbas to Ukrainian hostages illegally held in Russia," Klimkin wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.

He thanked Foreign Minister of Canada Chrystia Freeland who invited him to the meeting, "for the sincere conversation and a friendly atmosphere."
