CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming rosters for this year’s Midland Roundtable Montana-Wyoming All-Star Basketball Series were released on Thursday, with seven players who won state championships in March representing the Equality State.
The girls team features Izzy Kelly and Karson Tempel from Class 4A state champ Cheyenne Central and Lauren Olsen and Jaden Meyer from 3A winner Douglas. Class 4A boys champion Gillette will be represented by Lane Hladky, Truman DeGrange and Nomar Gonzales.

Laramie’s Neil Summers, a three-time all-state honoree who has committed to the University of Wyoming, also will play for his home state against Montana.
The games are scheduled for June 13 in Gillette, Wyoming, and June 14 at Lockwood High School. The series is sponsored by Adrenaline Fundraising and Stockman Bank.

The 5-foot-9 Olsen scored a single-season record 781 points this season and capped her Douglas career with a 30-point effort in the state championship game — including the game-clinching free throws with 1.9 seconds remaining — to lead the Bearcats to a 58-55 victory over Cody for their seventh consecutive state title.

The Cal Baptist commit also finished as the all-time leading scorer in state history with 2,690 points. This season Olsen averaged a state-best 27.9 points per game as well as leading Douglas with 3.6 assists and 4.4 steals per game.
Bowers averaged 25.9 points, 4.1 assists and 4.2 steals per game for the Wranglers, who finished third at state with Bowers scoring a game-high 30 points. The Eastern Washington commit scored 699 points on the season, good for No. 3 in state history, and finished her career as the state’s No. 3 all-time scorer with 2,255 points.

Summers averaged 16.7 ppg on 58.0% shooting and 9.6 rebounds to lead the Plainsmen to their third consecutive runner-up finish.

Last year the Wyoming boys swept the two-game series to snap a 22-game losing streak. Montana still leads the all-time series 67-29.
The Montana girls have won 15 games in a row against Wyoming and lead the all-time series 41-13.
