Una Healy has shared an empowering snap with her fans, highlighting recent changes to her body and the impact it's had on her wellbeing.

The Saturdays singer, 42, told her social media followers on Tuesday how she had "gained a few" pounds over recent months and was feeling "a lot better".

Una, who shares kids Aoife, 11, and Tadgh, eight, with ex-husband Ben Foden, took to her Instagram Stories to post a gym selfie with her 663,000 followers as she shared the fitness update online.

Captioning the snap of herself wearing a black vest and leggings, the mum-of-two wrote: "I've gained a few kg these past few months... I've been keeping fit and healthy and lifting heavier... I feel a lot better now I have to say [praising hands and bicep emojis]."

Una's fitness update comes just weeks on from her ex-husband welcoming another child into the world with his current wife Jackie Smith. Una and Ben split in 2018 after six years of marriage, with the rugby player going on to marry Jackie, who gave birth to their daughter Farrah in May 2020.

Living in the US with their daughter Farrah, Ben and Jackie have now expanded their family with the addition of their newborn Olympia. Speaking in February this year, Ben revealed his ex Una was happy to see her former husband expanding his family with his new wife.

"She's really happy for us welcoming another baby into the family," the dad-of-four told OK! magazine. "We've been co-parenting for the last five years and I think we're pretty good at it now. Me having another baby won't change anything and I appreciate how much she takes the reins with Aoife and Tadgh."

Future plans involve a return to England, not just for rugby and celebrations, but also to ensure the kids get to meet their new sister. Detailing the arrangements further, he said: "For us, it's all about communication and I think she also appreciates the break we give her when the kids visit for a few weeks during the summer and at Christmas."

He confirmed that Aoife and Tadgh will meet their little sister this summer after spending Christmas in America with him. Ben shared: "They've not met in person yet, no. We've FaceTimed and called a couple of times though. They both came over to visit on 26 December and it was awesome to have them over just before Olympia was born. It meant we could take them to one of Jackie's scans so they could see the baby. It was really special."

"We also took them skiing at a centre near Jackie's parent's house in Connecticut and they were total naturals. It was nice to spend time just the five of us before Olympia came along. I'm also going back to England for the England v Ireland rugby game, which will be around when Aoife's birthday is. So, I'll see them then again but in terms of them meeting Pia, it'll be summer."
