LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Wynonna Judd is coming home for the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.

On April 12, the Kentucky-native country music icon announced on Facebook that she’d perform the national anthem on Derby Day.

The performance will kick off the most exciting two minutes in sports at 5 p.m. on May 4.

“From going to the racetrack as a little girl to now singing The Star-Spangled Banner during this milestone year, it’s such a full-circle moment,” Judd said on Facebook.
