Last Updated 16 October 2017, 21:09 IST

Bengaluru Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (BMRDA) launched a social media centre on Monday to cater to people’s problems posted on social media sites and reply to their grievances.

The centre was inaugurated by Bengaluru Development and Town Planning Minister K J George, who would directly supervise the complaints and grievances posted by the public.

Members of the public can share their grievances on Twitter or Facebook handles of the department to register their complaints regarding civic problems. The complaints registered would be forwarded to the respective civic agency in the same format. In case there is a delay in resolving the complaint, the same would be updated to the complainant. A nodal officer from each civic agency will be appointed to look into the grievances and work actively.
