What Super Eagles Stars Are Saying After AFCON Qualification: Iwobi, Omeruo, Nine Players React
Published: November 18, 2018Eleven Super Eagles players have taken to social media to celebrate Nigeria's qualification for next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon after missing out on the last two editions.
Prior to yesterday's contest at the FNB Stadium, the Super Eagles were aware that any result other than defeat would be enough to secure progression to the showpiece event on CAF's football calendar and they claimed the result they needed.
Nigeria took the lead in the tenth minute after Buhle Mkhwanazi turned the ball
into his own net but sixteen minutes later Lebo Mothiba leveled
the score.
